About this role

Middletown Veterinary Hospital is looking to hire General Practice and Emergency Veterinarians to:

• Examine dogs and cats proficiently to diagnose illness, disease, and injury in an accurate and timely manner
• Treat dogs and cats by prescribing appropriate medications, managing wounds, and performing other medical procedures
• Perform surgery up to the level of interest and skill of the veterinarian
• Proficient with technical skills related to small animal veterinary medicine (venipuncture, catheter placement, urinary catheter placement, cystocentesis, etc.)
• Educate pet owners on a comprehensive preventative health plan for their pets, including vaccination and parasite prevention
• Timely upkeep of medical records related to their appointments and surgeries
• Timely communication with pet owners following diagnostic test results and biopsy results

About you

A veterinarian that can perform a full range of professional veterinary duties, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, and surgery, capable of considerable independent judgment in case management and a commitment to outstanding patient care and client service.

Middletown DE is rapidly growing and boasts the best school district in the area. It is conveniently located within driving distance of New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Baltimore.

Our offer

We offer a generous salary and benefits package that includes a starting salary of $125,000 and a lucrative monthly production bonus with the potential for higher depending on years of experience.

In addition, we are offering a $10,000 signing bonus (or relocation expenses, depending upon location) and potential for housing for the first year of employment.
