About this role

• 24 hour specialty/emergency hospital in breathtaking Carlsbad, CA
• surgical suites, fluoroscopy, laparoscopic and thorascopic instrumentation, endoscopy, multiple ultrasounds, computed tomography, in-house lab, dedicated oncology space
• Within our hospital and sister locations, we have specialists in surgery, internal medicine, neurology, cardiology, medical and radiation oncology, radiology, ophthalmology, and an experienced 24-hour Emergency and Critical Care staff
• Successful rotating internship program
• New oncologist will have access to an existing referral base and clientele, work alongside two very well-known and experienced boarded oncologists – mentorship
• Trained oncology support staff ready to work with their new oncologist
• Outstanding opportunity to participate with the MARS Oncology Advisory Board
• Innovative team of multidisciplinary specialists provides Southern California with a network of specialty and critical care hospitals at three state of the art facilities: CVS Ontario (San Bernardino County), CVS Murrieta (Riverside County), and CVS Carlsbad (San Diego County)

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
• Licensure in good standing to practice in (state), or the ability to obtain
• Residency Trained or Diplomate Board Certification
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

Compensation

• The annualized base for this position is negotiable based on experience and credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $200-$300k
• This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs
