About us
Greenfield has been caring for pets in the Metro Detroit area for more than 60 years. We have been AAHA-accredited for 55 of those years! Dr. Shencopp and Evie Fredenburg own the clinic and are proud to say they have grown up with Greenfield, having both started over 19 years ago, working their way into ownership!
We are looking for an associate veterinarian to provide either part-time or full-time support to our 5-doctor practice! Surgery and dentistry are not required but appreciated. We believe in a collaborative environment and rely heavily on drugs and low-stress handling techniques to ensure the most positive outcome for our patients and staff.
The front desk, vet techs, and actual doctors here are so incredibly sweet. They [unfortunately] know my little guy by name & even have nicknames for him. About this role
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose medical conditions in animals.
- Administer vaccinations and preventive care to maintain pet health.
- Ideally, but not required, perform surgical procedures and manage post-operative care.
- Provide emergency treatment and critical care as needed.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and treatments.

We are conveniently located right off of 696, making any commute easy!
Our offer
Competitive salary range dependent on the number of hours and days you’d like to work. Between $120,000 to $160,000.
