About us
Our Practice is Fun – We laugh…. A LOT. It’s a hard enough career, but this group of people makes every day a joy to come to work, no matter how challenging the medicine might be that day.
The techs are incredible – histories will be captured, blood will be drawn, urine will be collected, and running before you’re even in the room.
The clients are great – smart, loyal, and caring. Their pets are part of the family and they buy into the idea of doing everything that they can.
The buildings feels like home – Under construction since the first day of ownership, we’ve been reinventing every day for the past four years, and it’s really a welcoming place to be.

About this role
You’ll be hands-on with a wide variety of cases, from routine wellness exams to complex medical and surgical workups. Skills that will set you up for success here include:
- Strong diagnostic abilities to work up diverse cases with confidence
- Clear and compassionate client communication to help pet owners make informed decisions
- Surgical and dental proficiency, with support for developing advanced techniques
- A collaborative approach that thrives in a team-focused environment
Requirements:
- Minimum education: Doctorate/DVM
- Full-time or part-time
- Some experience preferred, but any experience level is welcome
About you
Must be willing to:
- Laugh
- Occasionally bring coffee for your techs
- Be able to engage and listen to client stories about why each and every pet is unique
- Occasionally partake in a cat rodeo
- Be empathetic to your clients, your co-workers, and yourself
- Be nice to the drug reps who bring us lunch
- Ask for help
- Offer help
- Be willing to be part of a workplace where giving a sh!t about each other is more than some motivational poster on the wall

Our veterinary office is proud to serve the residents of Newark, DE and its surrounding communities. Two practices right down the road from each other that act as one big integrated team. At New London Veterinary Center, we’re passionate about providing pets with the level of care they deserve.
Our offer
Salary range:
- Recent grads / early career: $125,000 – $150,000
- Experienced veterinarians: $140,000 – $185,000
