About us
We are a fully ambulatory equine sports medicine practice serving dressage, eventing, western performance, and pleasure riding clients across eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. Our culture is genuinely fun (#TheFunVets), our team is supportive and collaborative, and we believe working with horses every day is a privilege worth protecting with sustainable schedules and real work-life balance.
What your days look like:
You’ll work with engaged, passionate horse owners who see you as part of their team. These are clients who value your expertise, who are invested in their horses’ development, and who are working toward clear goals – whether that’s moving up levels in eventing, perfecting a dressage test, or keeping their partner sound and thriving. These aren’t emergency-only relationships; they’re built on trust, collaboration, and shared commitment.
What makes us different:
- True teamwork: Weekly doctor rounds, constant case communication, and genuine collaboration. You’re never making decisions in isolation.
- Career development: Strong continuing education support and mentorship because we invest in your growth
- Kind, compassionate culture: We’re friendly, approachable, and highly skilled – and we genuinely enjoy spending time together!
- Sustainable practice: Work-life balance isn’t a buzzword here; it’s how we operate
- Competitive compensation: Because this work matters, and we recognize that
A special note: If you’re a veterinarian who previously practiced equine medicine but moved to small animal or left the field entirely due to culture, lifestyle, or compensation concerns – we’d especially love to hear from you. We know you haven’t forgotten as much as you might fear, and we’re absolutely equipped to help you transition back. The horses are waiting to see you again!
I would highly recommend North Bridge! Smart, kind, and fun team of vets. The vets go above and beyond to make sure my horse is comfortable and receiving the best possible treatment. I also appreciate how reliable and responsive they are whenever I need help or advice – Megan Cavanaugh – Google Review

Our location
Why New England?
You’re not just choosing a job – you’re choosing where to live your life. New England gives you the best of everything. Eastern
Boston is right here with world-class culture, dining, sports, and entertainment. The Atlantic coast is 30 minutes away for beach days and seafood.
