About us
Granbury Animal Clinic is a well-established small animal practice located in Granbury, Texas. Our core focus is to have a positive impact on people, their pets, and the entire animal community, and we strive to find the treatment path that best fits the family.
We offer routine veterinary care and medical, surgical, and dental services. With a complete pharmacy, digital radiology and ultrasound equipment, an in-house diagnostic lab, and access to specialists, our facility offers a one-stop shop for every pet’s health and medical care.
Having worked in the Veterinary profession for 15+ years, I’m very picky when it comes to the care of my 5 dogs. From the minute I walked in, I knew this was the place for my 4 legged family members. Cleanliness, friendly, attentive reception staff, and support staff are the heart of a practice and GAC has it all. The Drs are caring, and speak in layman’s terms. Everything is upfront – from pricing, options and possibilities. Thank you GAC for the wonderful care.
About this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine animals to diagnose illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans, including prescribing medications.
- Perform routine and complex surgical procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
- Administer vaccinations and other preventive care measures.
- Educate pet owners on animal care, nutrition, and treatment plans with clarity and empathy.
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as X-rays, blood tests, and ultrasounds to support clinical decisions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate effectively with veterinary technicians, assistants, and other staff.
- Uphold high standards of animal welfare and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Participate in continued learning and clinic development initiatives.
About you
- DVM or equivalent
- Licensed (or eligible) to practice in Texas
- Strong communication and client education skills
- Team-oriented attitude

💰 Competitive Salary: $100,000–$150,000 base + production bonus (no negative accrual)
