1. Report to a Business Manager who is also a Veterinary professional
2. Join and receive support from Our Vet advocacy group made of professionals from the network.
3. Be mentored by a highly engaged Chief Nurse Officer focused on delivering the best standard of care and operation.

Your role will involve:

• Managing medical cases – from consults to follow-ups, ensuring patients receive high-quality, compassionate care.
• Performing surgeries – routine and non-routine, matched to your experience and skills.
• Building strong client relationships – delivering clear communication, trust, and an excellent experience.
• Growing your expertise – embracing professional development and keeping your clinical skills current.
• Contributing to the team – supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge, and fostering a positive, collaborative clinic culture.
• Partaking in the success of the clinic – helping drive improvements, supporting clinic goals, and contributing to its ongoing growth and performance.

About you

To apply for this role, you should have:

• Veterinary qualifications and relevant State board registration
• 3+ years’ experience as a Veterinarian in small animal medicine
• Confidence working in Sole Charge situations
• A collaborative and welcoming approach to working with your team and clients.
• The drive to foster a supportive and positive clinic environment

• Situated in the popular Springvale mega-centre just off Princes highway
• Operates Monday to Saturday, 9am – 5pm

Kawana is a busy clinic, currently operated by a team of 3, including a casual vet, and led by experienced Senior Nurse and Business Manager, Katharine. The team can handle daily surgeries, dental work, and offers a variety of veterinary services. We’re a clinic in an exciting rebuilding phase, offering a great opportunity for the new incoming Vet to make it their own, and drive development, all while working within an existing, fully functioning structure. Our clinic boasts a spacious reception area and waiting space, 2 consult rooms, sterile operating theatre, X-ray and Dental X-ray as well as all equipment to run in-house pathology. We also receive regular visits by medical and surgical specialists, allowing the team to manage a broad range of cases; working closely with nearby Hospitals for referrals and overnight stays.
