Our team includes three highly skilled veterinary dental providers and three dedicated support staff who genuinely care for one another and work together with trust, respect, and collaboration at the heart of everything we do. At VDCA, we invest in our people—encouraging and reimbursing continuing education so our team can stay at the forefront of general veterinary dentistry and consistently exceed industry standards.
This was the first time to an actual pet dentist. They should have more of them, as that’s all they do is dental. My husband and I were impressed with Dr. Jodi Reed, with her professionalism, and how she took care of our cat Mojo! The staff was great also! About this role
What You’ll Do
As our Medical Director, you’ll be more than a clinician—you’ll be a visionary leader:
- Lead with Purpose: Collaborate with Owner and Practice Manager to hire, train, and mentor top-tier staff.
- Champion Quality: Continue the existing gold standard for patient care to ensure exceptional medical outcomes. Provide input and training for new associate DVMs and support staff.
- Shape Strategy: Help write medical policies, oversee quality control, and align clinical standards with our growth goals.
- Be Our Expert Voice: Review and provide input on marketing materials to ensure they reflect our values and expertise.
- Drive Growth: Identify opportunities to expand services, improve efficiency, and elevate client satisfaction. Recruit new referral hospitals and new associate dentistry-only GPs.

Who You Are
- A licensed veterinarian (DVM or equivalent) with dental experience and a passion for dentistry.
- A strong communicator and mentor with proven leadership skills.
- Experienced in—or eager to learn—the business side of veterinary medicine.
- Ready to take ownership (literally and figuratively) of the practice’s success.

VDCA is located in the thriving Atlanta metro area. Our location offers employees a recently renovated workspace with modern amenities, including a kitchen, private bathrooms, conference space, and reliable high-speed internet. The facility has ample free parking, making commuting and client access convenient, while nearby businesses and services add to overall convenience.

What We Offer
- Salary: $180,000 plus bonus up to $40,000 based on performance
- Benefits: 2-4 weeks paid time off DOE, monthly health insurance reimbursement, continuing education expenses up to $2,000/year, discounted dental care for your personal dogs and cats
