Mountain View Animal Emergency is a privately-owned Emergency and Specialty Hospital located in beautiful Hagerstown, MD. We strive to be the change so desperately needed in the veterinary industry and support our team to communicate, collaborate and practice medicine with care, concern and compassion. I’ve been in the veterinary industry for over 25 years and joined MVAE earlier this year. I am continually impressed with the level of medicine provided as well as the overall feeling of support, teamwork and KINDNESS from every person on staff. 10/10 experience so far.
About this role
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
- Current license to practice in Maryland (or ability to obtain)
- A positive, team-oriented mindset and a passion for ER/Critical Care medicine
- Flexible schedule – 10 shift monthly average
- Generous PTO and CE allowance

Our location
Located in scenic Hagerstown MD. We’re about an hour from both DC and Baltimore. Close to great hiking, skiing, historical sites and outdoor activities. Easy reach to lots of local breweries and wineries as well as great local food and art scene. All with a reasonable cost of living and amazing views!
Our offer
Salary range: $100,000 to $250,000 base salary based on experience. Generous pro-sal bonus structure as well as a comprehensive benefits package. Health benefits start DAY ONE for all full-time associates.
