We are a well established, single location, non-corporate practice with deep roots in our community. We are a full service and fully equipped multi-doctor dog/cat exclusive general practice that offers high quality veterinary medicine.
We have a fun-loving, knowledgeable and great crew, are privately and women owned, and we help our Doctors thrive by embracing Work-Life Balance, providing generous and comprehensive benefits and maintaining a supportive, collaborative and positive clinic environment.

We work closely with the County Animal Shelter, along with many other local animal rescue organizations. This provides a great opportunity to be exposed to a wide variety of medical and surgical cases, plus shelter medicine; perfect for the new grad looking to expand their knowledge base or a seasoned vet looking for variety in cases.

About this role
Your schedule will alternate between surgery in the mornings with afternoon clinical appointments, or all day appointments. We only schedule 30 min appointments, and full-time is 4 days per week. We also accept daytime and walk-in emergencies so you will need to possess the ability to be flexible and nimble throughout your day along with emotional intelligence. Should hold a CA Veterinary license or be in the process of obtaining one.
As a licensed veterinarian, we would expect you to be competent in all of the things expected of a small animal general practitioner: exam room management, client communication, diagnostics, knowledge of diseases and conditions and soft tissue surgery. Ultrasound skills a plus!

Our offer
Compensation:
- Base salary starting at $105,000/year, with higher bases available DOE and schedule
- Production-based compensation and additional bonuses (paid monthly)
- No negative accrual
- $10,000 Signing/Relocation bonus
- Partnership/ownership potential (one owner planning to retire)
