We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team! About this role
This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions in pets and livestock.
- Perform surgical procedures as needed, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Administer vaccinations and medications according to established protocols.
- Provide guidance to pet owners on nutrition, behavior, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients treated.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the State of South Carolina.
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and common diseases.
- Experience with animal restraint techniques and handling various species, including dogs and equines.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary diagnostics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and team members.
- A commitment to providing compassionate care for animals and their owners.
