About us
We’re a small, dedicated team focused on making a meaningful impact. Our passion for veterinarian wellness and end-of-life care for companion animals inspired us to create EverPaw with a singular goal: to honor the human-animal bond by bringing peace, dignity, and compassion to pets and their families during one of life’s most difficult moments.
We offer gentle, in-home euthanasia to families across the greater Chicago area, giving beloved pets the chance to pass in the comfort of their own homes, surrounded by the people who love them most. We also recognize the emotional toll this work takes on veterinary professionals, so our mission extends to supporting the wellness of the caregivers who deliver it.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about EverPaw and the compassion they showed during one of the most difficult days of my life. From my very first phone call, every individual I spoke with was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. When I called in tears and struggled to hold myself together, I was never rushed. The owner took the time to listen, reassured me to take my time, and treated me with such genuine compassion that it immediately brought a sense of comfort during an otherwise heartbreaking situation. Dr. Laura was equally exceptional. She communicated clearly regarding her arrival time, explained every step of the process with care, and approached my loving little dog with such gentleness, dignity, and empathy. I never felt rushed. She gave me the time and space I needed with my loving little girl throughout each stage of the process, allowing me to be fully present and say goodbye in a way that felt peaceful and meaningful. The care did not end there. When I later picked up my loving little girls ashes, the presentation was beautiful and thoughtfully done. Every detail reflected the respect and compassion that EverPaw extends to both pets and their families. Losing my loving little dog, who was truly like a child to me, has been devastating. Yet the kindness, professionalism, and dignity EverPaw provided throughout the entire experience helped bring a sense of acceptance and closure. It has made navigating my grief more bearable, and for that I will always be grateful.
I wholeheartedly recommend EverPaw to anyone facing this difficult decision. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping my loving little girl pass peacefully and for treating her, and me, with such extraordinary care. – Chrystal Johnston
