About this role

This full-time or part-time opportunity will allow you to practice advanced internal medicine with the diagnostic capabilities, multidisciplinary insight and clinical support needed to investigate and manage complex cases thoroughly.

You will collaborate closely with specialists, emergency clinicians and experienced care teams, sharing knowledge and developing considered treatment plans for referred patients. There will also be opportunities to contribute to the education of rotating interns and participate in VCA’s clinical studies program.

You will have the autonomy to apply your specialist expertise while remaining connected to colleagues across the hospital and wider California Veterinary Specialists network.

• Committed to practising high-quality medicine with sound clinical judgement

• Curious, engaged and committed to continued professional development
• A graduate of an accredited veterinary university, or holder of an equivalent DVM degree
• Licensed to practise in California, or eligible to obtain licensure
• Residency trained or board certified in veterinary internal medicine

Compensation is negotiable and will reflect your education, experience, specialist credentials and the contribution you will bring to the hospital.
