About us
Cat Hospital At Towson is a feline-exclusive practice serving the Baltimore/Towson region. Our hospital is designed around the behavior, comfort, emotional well-being, and medical needs of cats. We are AAHA-Accredited and a FelineVMA Gold Cat Friendly Practice.

About this role
You will provide high-quality feline care, including:
- Preventive and wellness care, including semiannual exams and diagnostic trending
- Senior-cat medicine and chronic disease management
- Sick visits, diagnostics, pain management, and treatment planning
- Dentistry and soft-tissue surgery, depending on your interests and experience
- Collaboration with technicians, assistants, and support staff on client education and case follow-up
- Mentorship and knowledge-sharing within the team
About you
The ideal candidate is:
- Warm, emotionally intelligent, and collaborative
- Passionate about feline medicine and client communication
- Confident managing appointments independently
- Comfortable working with team members and clients across generations
- Digitally competent and open to technology that improves patient care
- Interested in being part of a healthy, modern veterinary workplace
- Feline-exclusive experience is welcome, though not required if you have a strong interest and aptitude in feline handling and medicine.
- A DVM, VMD, or equivalent eligible for Maryland licensure

Our offer
Schedule and Hybrid Flexibility
This is a unique position with a schedule designed to support sustainability, balance, patient care, and team coverage. We are open to full-time or part-time candidates.
Hybrid work may be available for appropriate duties such as medical record completion, client follow-up, lab review, treatment-plan communication, telehealth or telemedicine where legally and medically appropriate, and selected team or administrative projects.
Compensation and Benefits
Expected compensation range: $145,000–$180,000+ full-time equivalent, commensurate with experience, capacity, schedule, and clinical strengths, with bonus or production eligibility.
Part-time compensation will be structured based on schedule and responsibilities. Highly qualified candidates with strong feline medicine, dentistry, surgery, leadership, or client-development skills may be considered above range.
