About us
Since 1990, Companion Animal Clinic has been serving Yucca Valley, CA, and surrounding areas. We are a full-service animal hospital offering general veterinary medicine and surgery to cats, dogs, and pocket pets. We take pride in providing our patients with exceptional veterinary care in a warm and welcoming environment. We offer a variety of services ranging from preventive care, surgery, medicine, dental care, and more. We stress the importance of client education, including preventive medicine and proper nutrition, to help their pets live long, healthy lives.
Our veterinarians and staff members are well-trained and caring. Our staff continues to keep up-to-date with all of the changes occurring in the veterinary world in order to be as knowledgeable as possible in our field of work. At Companion Animal Clinic, we care for our patients as if they were our own pets.
I was traveling through Joshua Tree and my cat needed to see a vet asap. They aren’t taking new patients, but they were able to see him at their walk-in clinic. It costs more but was well worth it (just get there when it starts bc they fill up fast!). My cat ended up needing quite a bit of care. The Dr was super kind and went over all the options. I really appreciated that she was conscious of cost, and I didn’t feel shamed about what I was able to do based on finances. My cat got the care, treatment, and follow-up to get him feeling better and us back on the road. We ended up going in 3 times over 2 weeks (diagnostic, treatment, follow-up). The office folks kept in touch throughout that time and all of the staff was amazing through the whole process!!
About this role
In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical care to pets, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, surgeries, and emergency treatments. You will work closely with pet owners to diagnose, treat, and prevent illnesses, ensuring the health and well-being of animals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for animal care, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
About you
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled veterinarian who is dedicated to providing exceptional care for small animals. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in clinical skills, including diagnostics, surgery, and emergency care, with a genuine passion for working with pets and their families. A collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills is essential, as we value building trusting relationships with both clients and colleagues. We seek someone who is proactive in continuing education, staying current with veterinary advancements, and who can bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude to our practice.
Requirements: Must be licensed in California and proficient in small animal veterinary medicine, surgery, and dentistry.

Our offer
